Polysights Alternative

Polysights pursues quant-grade depth — Radar Score, Open Interest, Resolution Urgency, an Execution Terminal beta. Their ambition is real, but at v0.8.1 the product is still pre-1.0 and noticeably buggy. OrcaLayer ships fewer experimental features, but the ones we ship work — stable, methodology-published, with ISW Ukraine data and a real Premium API.

Three differences that change which trader you copy

Below are the three places where OrcaLayer's data diverges from Polysightsin ways that show up in your P&L. Concrete numbers from real wallets — not claims.

Differentiator 1 of 3

Production-stable vs pre-v1.0 BETA

The problem with Polysights

Polysights self-describes as 'Polysights Corp · Version 0.8.1'. Multiple features in their UI are locked behind 'Coming soon' or 'Sign up for v1 BETA' (AI Insights, News Feed, Radar). Their Execution Terminal is BETA. Users we've talked to confirm the product feels glitchy — navigation breaks, panels don't load consistently, filters fail to apply. Pre-1.0 software is fine for trying experiments; less fine for daily monitoring of money flows.

How OrcaLayer fixes it

OrcaLayer is past v1 and shipped to a paying user base. Status is monitored externally at orcalayer.betteruptime.com — incidents are publicly visible. We don't ship features behind 'Coming soon' walls; everything in the UI works. Fewer experimental features, more reliable defaults.

Differentiator 2 of 3

Published methodology vs opaque Radar Score

The problem with Polysights

Polysights' Radar Score is genuinely interesting — a multi-axis rating visualized as a radar chart, more analytically rich than a single 0-100 number. But the formula is not published. Users see seven axes, but not how they were computed or weighted. For traders deciding whether to follow a high-Radar wallet, this is opacity at the decision layer.

How OrcaLayer fixes it

OrcaLayer publishes every metric. Farmer Filter logic is in /blog/why-99-percent-win-rate-is-a-trap. NegRisk halving documented in /docs/api. Win rate calculation FIFO with side-level cost basis. Our numbers stay within 0.7% of PredictFolio (the niche's reference). We don't yet have a Radar Score equivalent — when we ship it, the formula will be in /docs.

Differentiator 3 of 3

ISW Ukraine + public TG signals — Polysights has neither

The problem with Polysights

Polysights has Trade Alerts you can configure inside your account, but no public broadcast channel — no Telegram, no public Discord. Their Twitter has 16.4K followers and posts spotlights, but it's not a real-time signal pipe. And while they ship quant-grade market metrics for general Polymarket markets, they have nothing specific to Ukraine territory bets that resolve via ISW maps.

How OrcaLayer fixes it

@orcalayer is our public Telegram channel where the scout pipeline broadcasts whale signals automatically — Big Bets, Coordinated Buys, Million Club graduates, ISW Ukraine alerts. Free. Plus our /territory dashboard surfaces ISW (Institute for the Study of War) daily map updates with frontline coordinates and affected Polymarket markets, in real time. Two distribution channels Polysights doesn't have.

Honest assessment

Where Polysights is better

Polysights ships features we don't have, with real ambition behind them. They went past 'analytics' into Execution Terminal territory — and we respect that scope. Here's where they win, fairly.

Radar Score multi-axis rating

Their 7-axis radar chart (Unique Mkts, Entry, Size, Trade Conc, Vol Conc, SS Rate, WC/TX %) is more analytically rich than a single Smart Score number. Visually impressive too. We don't have an equivalent yet — it's our top steal-able idea from this analysis.

Quant-grade market metrics

They surface Open Interest, Resolution Urgency, Trend Strength, Depth-Stress Ratio, Volume Turnover — derivatives-trading-style metrics uncommon in prediction-market analytics. Useful for power-quant audience. We have these on roadmap.

Execution Terminal (BETA)

They're pushing into actual buy/sell execution, not just analytics. PolyGun-like but web-based. We don't plan to build this directly — more likely partner with execution providers.

Slide-in market detail UX

Click a market in the list → slide-in panel from the right, no full route navigation. Faster perceived UX, lets you browse multiple markets without losing list context. We have it on backlog.

Polymarket Official follows them on Twitter

Niche credibility signal. They've earned it through ambition.

If you want experimental quant features and you tolerate pre-1.0 bugs, Polysights is genuinely interesting. If you want stable infrastructure with published methodology, exclusive ISW Ukraine data, public TG signals, and a real Premium API on a clean paid tier — OrcaLayer is the production-ready choice.

Which one should you use?

Most users want one tool, not two. Here's our honest read on which fits best for the four most common scenarios.

I want a multi-axis radar chart whale rating
Polysights

Polysights' Radar Score is genuinely useful and we don't have it yet. If radar visualization is your primary need, theirs is currently better.

I want stable infrastructure for daily monitoring
OrcaLayer

Polysights is at v0.8.1 with multiple features locked or buggy. OrcaLayer is past v1 with externally-monitored uptime and a paying user base.

I trade Polymarket Ukraine markets
OrcaLayer

Our /territory dashboard surfaces ISW daily maps. Polysights has no Ukraine-specific data layer.

I want Polymarket execution / buy-sell from the same UI
Polysights

Their Execution Terminal (BETA) is moving into actual execution. We don't plan to build this directly — we focus on data quality and partner with execution providers.

I'm building a tool on top of Polymarket whale data
OrcaLayer

OrcaLayer Premium ($19.99/mo) includes a real REST API with 300 req/min. Polysights has no public API.

I want push notifications via Telegram
OrcaLayer

@orcalayer public TG channel + personal TG bot on Pro. Polysights has Trade Alerts inside the account but no public broadcast pipe.

How to switch from Polysights in 3 steps

No data migration needed — both tools read the same public Polygon blockchain data. You're not moving anything; you're just switching which lens you read it through.

  1. 1

Compare a wallet on both — see the stability difference

Open OrcaLayer's leaderboard, look up any wallet you study on Polysights. You'll see the same data resolved cleanly with Farmer Filter, NegRisk-corrected win rate, and Median Hold — without the 'Coming soon' walls or buggy filter behavior. Then check the same wallet's Radar Score on Polysights for the multi-axis view; that we don't have yet.

  2. 2

Subscribe to @orcalayer for free signal broadcasts

Our Telegram channel pushes whale signals automatically — Big Bets, Coordinated Buys, Million Club graduates, ISW Ukraine alerts. Free, no signup. Polysights has Trade Alerts inside accounts but no public broadcast.

  3. 3

Sign up free — public pricing, no surprise tier

OrcaLayer's pricing is fixed and public on /pricing — Pro $9.99/mo, Premium $19.99/mo. Polysights' pricing isn't published; you sign up for v1 BETA and find out tier prices later. We prefer the upfront approach.

FAQ — Polysights vs OrcaLayer

Common questions from traders evaluating both.

Yes — for traders who want stable infrastructure, published methodology, exclusive ISW Ukraine data, public TG signals, and a real Premium API. Polysights pushes harder on experimental quant features (Radar Score, Execution Terminal, AI Insights) but at v0.8.1 they're pre-1.0 and many features are locked or buggy. Most users use both: OrcaLayer for daily monitoring, Polysights for the Radar Score visualization on power-trader analysis.

Ambition is good. Stability is better.
