The problem with Polymarket Analytics

Polymarket's NegRisk markets are multi-outcome contracts (think: 'Who wins the 2026 US presidency') where one outcome wins and all others lose. Polymarket Analytics counts each outcome bet as a separate position when computing win rate. Result: a trader who bets on three losing candidates and one winning candidate gets credited with one win and three losses *separately*, but the underlying decision was a single market call. The math inflates apparent win rates by up to 2ร—.

How OrcaLayer fixes it

MINT/MERGE trade classification โ€” the split executions every other feed hides

The problem with Polymarket Analytics

On Polymarket's CLOB, two BUY orders on opposite outcomes can match by minting a fresh share pair โ€” a 'split execution'. In Polymarket's own live feed these mint fills simply don't appear, and the data API shows them as generic trades. That's not cosmetic: a mint SELL YES is actually an ENTRY into NO, the opposite of what an orderbook SELL means. Any tracker reading raw feeds โ€” Polymarket Analytics included โ€” either misses these fills entirely or silently misreads entries as exits. For wallets that trade heavily via mints (common in live sports), a large share of their real activity is invisible or inverted.

How OrcaLayer fixes it

OrcaLayer's indexer classifies every fill at the trade level โ€” MINT, MERGE, or regular orderbook โ€” with both counterparties, price and size on each leg.
