Polymarket Analytics Alternative

Polymarket Analytics ranks the wallets with the highest raw P&L. OrcaLayer ranks the wallets with the highest *real* skill — about 16% of their top traders are airdrop farmers and bot wallets that our Farmer Filter strips out before you ever see the leaderboard.

Three differences that change which trader you copy

Below are the three places where OrcaLayer's data diverges from Polymarket Analyticsin ways that show up in your P&L. Concrete numbers from real wallets — not claims.

Differentiator 1 of 3

Farmer Filter — see who's actually skilled, not who farmed an airdrop

The problem with Polymarket Analytics

Polymarket Analytics ranks wallets by raw lifetime P&L. The problem: airdrop farmers and bot wallets show enormous P&L from one-shot grant tokens, sweeping markets at $0.99 to harvest LP rewards, or running automated low-edge strategies that don't generalize. Their leaderboards include these wallets at the top — which means traders copying the 'best' performers are often copying farmers whose strategies stop working the moment the airdrop ends.

How OrcaLayer fixes it

OrcaLayer's Farmer Filter classifier flags wallets with bot-like patterns: uniform position sizes across markets, single-market focus over months, low resolved-market count relative to volume, and trade-timing clustered to incentive-program windows. About 16% of the wallets that show up on raw P&L leaderboards are flagged — and those flags are visible on every wallet detail page so you can decide for yourself whether to follow them.

Concrete example
Aggregate: top-1000 Polymarket wallets by raw P&L
Polymarket Analytics
All 1000 visible as 'top traders'
OrcaLayer
~160 flagged as farmers, hidden by default
Why this matters: Following the average flagged wallet loses money over a 30-day forward window because their P&L source (airdrops, LP rewards) is non-repeatable. Copying our filtered top-1000 — the wallets that *aren't* farmers — measurably outperforms in our backtests.
Differentiator 2 of 3

NegRisk Win-Rate Correction — fixing a 2× inflation built into the data

The problem with Polymarket Analytics

Polymarket's NegRisk markets are multi-outcome contracts (think: 'Who wins the 2026 US presidency') where one outcome wins and all others lose. Polymarket Analytics counts each outcome bet as a separate position when computing win rate. Result: a trader who bets on three losing candidates and one winning candidate gets credited with one win and three losses *separately* — but the underlying decision was a single market call. The math inflates apparent win rates by up to 2×.

How OrcaLayer fixes it

OrcaLayer's pipeline halves NegRisk volumes and treats the underlying market as one decision. Win rate is computed at the market level, not the outcome level. Our published numbers stay within 0.7% of PredictFolio (our cross-validation reference) on every wallet we benchmark.

Concrete example
Smart whale 0xc5d56...ad2d (NegRisk-heavy trader)
Polymarket Analytics
Win rate: 95% (inflated by NegRisk double-counting)
OrcaLayer
Win rate: 67% (corrected at market level)
Why this matters: 67% is still excellent — well above the ~50% baseline. But expecting 95% means risking position sizes that lose you money long-term. Knowing the real edge changes how you'd Kelly-size copy trades.
Differentiator 3 of 3

ISW Ukraine Territory — exclusive data layer Polymarket Analytics has nothing like

The problem with Polymarket Analytics

Polymarket has dozens of Ukraine markets that resolve based on ISW (Institute for the Study of War) map interpretation, not on Polymarket's own subjective reading of news. The reasoning: ISW publishes daily territory-control updates with frontline coordinates; Polymarket pegs resolution to those updates. Polymarket Analytics has no special data layer for Ukraine markets — their leaderboard treats them like any other market, which means traders trying to gain edge on Ukraine bets see nothing more than what's already priced in.

How OrcaLayer fixes it

OrcaLayer indexes ISW's daily territory updates into our /territory dashboard. When ISW publishes a new map, we surface the change in real time with frontline coordinates, settlement-level changes, and which Polymarket markets are affected. For Ukraine traders this is a genuine information edge — ISW updates often appear before market price catches up. The dashboard is free to view.

Honest assessment

Where Polymarket Analytics is better

Polymarket Analytics has been the dominant Polymarket whale tracker for years. They're not wrong on fundamentals — they're just narrower than what active traders need today. Here's where they win, fairly.

Hot Traders scrolling ticker

Their top-of-page real-time ticker showing whale gains across categories is engaging UX we don't yet have. It's measurably the kind of feature that drives pages-per-visit (theirs is ~4.79, very high). On our roadmap.

Yearly billing 37% off

They offer annual plans at a substantial discount ($240/yr vs effectively $151/yr). We currently only offer monthly. Annual lock-in is on our pricing roadmap.

Established brand on 'polymarket' search

Their domain is exact-match for the parent product. They will rank #1 on the head term 'polymarket' essentially forever. We compete on long-tail terms like 'polymarket alternative', 'polymarket smart money', 'polymarket farmer detection' — not on the head.

Capital Efficiency + Current Streak metrics

Their 'Capital Efficiency (30d)' and 'Current Streak (1d win)' tiles are gamification we haven't shipped. Streak especially drives daily return visits — our backlog has it scheduled.

If you want a polished UI with engagement-driven metrics and a slick mobile experience, Polymarket Analytics is fine. If you want to actually find smart money — not just popular wallets — and you trade Ukraine markets or care about real win rates instead of inflated ones, OrcaLayer was built specifically for that.

Which one should you use?

Most users want one tool, not two. Here's our honest read on which fits best for the four most common scenarios.

I want to find smart money to copy on Polymarket
OrcaLayer

Farmer Filter and NegRisk-corrected win rates are decisive here. Without those, you're copying noise — the 'top wallets' on raw-P&L leaderboards include unsustainable farmers whose edge dies the moment the airdrop ends.

I just want a quick wallet lookup with no signup
Either works

Both products let you look up any wallet without an account. We have an unlimited /leaderboard browse on free tier; their UI has slightly tighter mobile polish.

I trade Polymarket Ukraine / geopolitics markets
OrcaLayer

Our /territory dashboard surfaces ISW (Institute for the Study of War) daily map updates — the resolution oracle Polymarket uses for territory markets. Polymarket Analytics has nothing equivalent.

I want a real-time scrolling ticker of hot traders
Polymarket Analytics

We don't have it yet — it's on our roadmap. If a Hot Traders ticker is the deciding feature for you, theirs is currently the better choice.

Pricing — what each side charges

Public pricing as listed on each product's site. Both offer free tiers; paid tiers unlock the depth most active traders want.

How to switch from Polymarket Analytics in 3 steps

No data migration needed — both tools read the same public Polygon blockchain data. You're not moving anything; you're just switching which lens you read it through.

  1. 1

Try a wallet lookup, no signup

Open OrcaLayer's leaderboard, click any wallet you currently follow on Polymarket Analytics, and compare side-by-side. You'll see Farmer Filter status, NegRisk-corrected win rate, and Median Hold — three numbers their product can't show you. No account needed.

    Open leaderboard
  2. 2

Sign up free (no credit card)

Create an account in 30 seconds — email or wallet. The free tier gives 10 wallet lookups per day (20 signed-in), full leaderboard view, and the markets browser. Plenty to evaluate whether the data quality difference is worth the switch.

    Sign up free
  3. 3

Set up alerts on the wallets that aren't farmers

Once you've identified a few wallets that pass Farmer Filter and have honest, NegRisk-corrected win rates, set TG bot alerts so new positions hit your phone instantly. Pro tier at $9.99/mo (less than half their Premium) unlocks unlimited.

FAQ — Polymarket Analytics vs OrcaLayer

Common questions from traders evaluating both.

It depends what you optimize for. If you want methodology-transparent data with Farmer Filter, NegRisk-corrected win rates, ISW Ukraine territory data, and a real Premium API — OrcaLayer is the most direct alternative on the market. If you want a polished engagement-focused UI with a Hot Traders ticker and yearly billing, Polymarket Analytics is currently better at that side. Most active traders pick OrcaLayer for data accuracy and accept that we're shipping ticker features later.
